Disaster Relief Donation Form- Jamaica


The Promise Church of God is partnering with relief efforts to support families in Jamaica impacted by Hurricane Melissa.

Your generosity will help provide urgent supplies during this critical time of recovery.

The Government of Jamaica has approved a 30-day tax waiver (Oct 29 – Nov 28, 2025) for items imported for disaster relief — making your contributions even more impactful!

How You Can Help:

1. Donate In-Kind Items
Bring new & gently used supplies from the approved list — such as:
Toiletries & hygiene kits
First-aid & over-the-counter medicines
Non-perishable foods & bottled water
Clothing, linens, tarps, & rain gear
Flashlights, batteries, & tools

Drop-off Dates & Times:

  • Wed, Nov 5: 7:00–9:00 PM

  • Fri, Nov 7: 7:30–9:30 PM

  • Sat, Nov 8: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM (Final Drop-Off)

All donations will be sorted, packed into barrels, and shipped directly to trusted ministry partners in Clarendon & Westmoreland Jamaica. Click here to view the Full List of Approved Disaster Relief Items.


2. Give Financially
If you prefer to give toward shipping costs, or purchasing additional relief supplies, you can make a secure online donation through our Giving Portal.

Acknowledgment for Your Gift
All donors will receive an acknowledgment email for in-kind and monetary contributions.
  • In-kind donations will include a non-cash contribution statement for your records (please retain your own item value).
  • Monetary gifts are tax-deductible and a gift receipt will be immediately sent via email. This gift will also appear on your year-end giving statement.

To ensure every donation is properly tracked, packed, and acknowledged, we ask that you briefly list the items you’re contributing.
This helps us:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory for shipping and customs documentation,

  • Match each donation to its donor for in-kind contribution acknowledgments, and

  • Make sure supplies are distributed efficiently once they arrive in Jamaica.
